Home Care Unit in Lit is looking for an Occupational Therapist

The Home Care Unit in Lit, where you as a future occupational therapist will work, is divided into two groups. You will share responsibility with a team consisting of a physiotherapist, a district nurse, and a unit manager.

Your new job

As an occupational therapist, you will plan, lead, and perform rehabilitation/habilitation work. You will also assess needs and create conditions for individuals to live as meaningful a life as possible by providing necessary interventions. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and guiding staff and relatives. You will closely collaborate with physiotherapists and district nurses, as well as the unit manager.

Common tasks

  • Participate with others in citizen matters.
  • Rehabilitation/habilitation interventions.
  • Prescribing and testing/adapting personal/work-related assistive devices.
  • Perform health-promoting and preventive measures.
  • Follow up on interventions.
  • Collaborate with physiotherapist, district nurse, unit manager, and basic staff.

What we are looking for in you

  • Qualified licensed occupational therapist - with a focus on home care in Lit.
  • A cheerful and open mind – we love when our employees spread positive energy.
  • Ability to work independently but also appreciate good collaboration and collegial learning.
  • Experience in public service or in healthcare and social welfare is an advantage - but not a requirement.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
  • You have a driver's license.
