We are looking for nursing assistants who create security and contribute to ensuring that our elderly Stockholmers at Högdalen care and nursing home have a meaningful and functioning everyday life.

We are primarily looking for someone who can work on a schedule from June to August 2025, summer temporary position, with working hours varying between 50% - 100%. The work is scheduled during the day/evenings, weekends, and night shifts. There is also the possibility to work on an hourly basis already now and continue after the summer.

Högdalen care and nursing home is a municipal elderly home with 135 apartments, divided into 66 somatic and 50 dementia places, as well as 16 short-term places and 3 respite care places. We work from a person-centered approach where the focus is on health, well-being, and quality of life. We offer beautiful surroundings and good communications. The care and nursing home is within walking distance to the Högdalen subway and other transport, as well as close to the city's offerings and parks. Meeting people with different life experiences and backgrounds makes the work both educational and exciting.

Your role as a summer temp

As a nursing assistant with us, you provide residents with a meaningful everyday life by offering personal care, support, and social activation. You are an important piece in supporting and motivating the elderly, creating security, and maintaining contact with relatives. The interventions should be designed to strengthen the individual's resources so that they can live an independent life. With us, we work together, and you will collaborate with other professionals such as nurses, nursing assistants, care aides, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to provide our residents with the best possible living conditions.

Your tasks consist of planning and implementing the interventions requested by the residents according to the implementation plan together with the work team. You maintain contact with relatives, participate in care planning, and social documentation. In addition to care tasks, delegated tasks according to HSL will be included. We are connected to national quality registers, and all staff working with us are bound by confidentiality.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have:

• A high school education in the nursing program, health and medical care, or another education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Computer skills and proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as documentation and reporting are part of the job.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in a care and nursing home.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has a professional demeanor. You have a good ability to plan work together with the team with the residents in focus. You take responsibility for your work, structure, and independently drive tasks forward. We also see that you contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach.
