Do you want to take the next step in your career as an electrical designer and work on exciting projects? Our client, a leading player in their industry in Västerås, is now looking for an experienced senior electrical designer to strengthen their team.

About the role

As a senior electrical designer, you will be a key person in the projects, responsible for producing detailed electrical drawings and designs. You will work closely with other technical experts and contribute your experience to ensure that projects are delivered according to customer requirements and timelines. An important part of the role is to have experience as a secondary designer and be accustomed to working with high-level technical solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Electrical design and construction of power systems and automation solutions.
• Use the tools Engineering Base and/or Eplan to facilitate design and documentation.
• Participate in project planning and collaborate with other technical departments to optimize solutions.
• Manage and follow up on technical specifications and customer requirements.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical design and project management, as well as experience as a secondary designer.
• Experience using the design tools Engineering Base and/or Eplan (experience with both tools is a plus).
• Good knowledge of power systems and automation.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable:

• Experience working in project teams and leading technical solutions.
• Knowledge of other design tools and programming languages.
