Job Description
As a Business Controller for HR, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with the management team and influence our strategic work. This role is not just about numbers and analysis – you will contribute to creating added value for the entire organization by delivering insights and developing processes that steer our operations towards success.
You will be responsible for following up on Samhall's ownership goals and specific HR key figures that are crucial for our mission to develop our employees. You will report to the Chief Controller but will also be an important part of the central HR team. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with HR managers, CFO, Business Controllers, IT, and the finance department in Linköping.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Following up on Samhall's ownership goals and HR key figures
- Conducting monthly follow-ups and analysis of statistics within the HR area
- Budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing for the HR function.
- Supporting management with strategic decision-making support in the HR area
- Developing and enhancing HR key figures
- Compiling and presenting monthly reports for various stakeholder groups
- Developing and improving reports from HR and BI tools
- Participating in quarterly and annual reports as well as sustainability reports
- Proactively working with key figure analyses and suggesting measures to achieve our goals
To succeed with us, you need to be structured, meticulous, and have an analytical ability to understand complex contexts. Additionally, you are a networker who proactively creates and maintains relationships within the organization.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a degree in business administration or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role focused on financial and operational management. You have experience from personnel-intensive operations and are comfortable handling large amounts of data. You possess excellent skills in the Office suite and can express yourself well in both spoken and written communication. Experience with BI tools is a plus.

Additionally, you are a networker who proactively creates and maintains relationships within the organization. You are driven, unpretentious, and self-sufficient. You have a strong initiative, are communicative, and can convey information pedagogically. You collaborate easily with different people and build strong relationships.
