Within the Lung and Allergy section, you will be part of outpatient care, day care, inpatient units, respiratory units, etc., where you will collaborate closely with a colleague and a team of unit managers, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and many more friendly colleagues.

Our medical secretaries work within our areas of expertise: infection/skin/lung/rheumatology and are part of a dedicated unit with 8 medical secretaries, an administrator, and a manager.

As an experienced medical secretary/healthcare administrator, you will have a varied job with a competent and dedicated mentor who will help you get started in your work. As a student in medical secretary/healthcare administration, you can also work alongside your studies by agreement.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a trained medical secretary/healthcare administrator but also welcome students in their final year of training who are interested in working with lung care at Sunderby Hospital and who are willing to relocate to the coastal-inland area with commuting distance to the job in Sunderbyn, located between Boden and Luleå.

You have good computer skills and strong proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have training in diagnostic classification, M365, and knowledge of Teams, Cosmic, VAS, and iHSAk. We place great importance on your personal qualities. As a person, you are a structured problem solver with good collaboration skills. You are flexible and adapt to changing situations.

This is what you will work with

As a medical secretary/healthcare administrator, you are a key player in the healthcare chain. You are responsible for maintaining patient safety regarding medical documentation and administration. Your tasks include medical documentation, diagnostic coding, registrations, referrals, mail handling, scanning, and invoicing.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position and, for students, employment according to agreement. There are opportunities to agree on working hours.
