ABOUT THE POSITION

Do you want to be an important part of someone else's everyday life and help create a meaningful existence? We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for a dedicated part-time personal assistant for our client in Kungsör. The position involves approximately 20–30 hours per month, where you will work 2–3 days a week. The client attends school on weekdays, and your shifts will start when he comes home, which is usually after 2 PM. Weekend shifts may also occur.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 17-year-old active boy with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and a mild intellectual disability. To facilitate his daily life, he uses aids such as a shower chair, electric wheelchair, and lift.

As a personal assistant to our client, you will among other things:

• Assist with transfers
• Help with personal hygiene, dressing, and meals

Furthermore, he is a very active boy who loves shopping and taking walks. He also has a great interest in engines. As a personal assistant, you will be an important part of his daily life, supporting him with both practical needs and participating in the activities he enjoys.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, responsible, and confident in taking their own initiative. Since our client is an active boy with many interests, it is important that you are flexible and can adapt to different situations. You should be attentive and aware of his needs while being solution-oriented and able to assist with practical tasks such as transfers and personal hygiene. It is also important that you are comfortable in environments with chlorine, as such environments may occur.

In the recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on your personal suitability and how well you fit to meet the client's needs. Our client prefers male applicants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to tolerate chlorine and be a competent swimmer
• Valid B driver's license

Employment rate: 20-30 hours per month, approximately 2-3 days a week.

Start date: According to agreement, we would like you to start the introduction immediately.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.
