Hishult School

Hishult School is the small school with close and good cooperation where everyone takes good care of each other and helps out in both big and small matters; a solution-focused approach defines us.

Hishult School grades F-6 has about 85 students. Here you work in beautiful indoor environments, and you have forest and nature right at your doorstep. We are now looking for another certified teacher for teaching handicrafts, and you are expected to collaborate with your colleagues to plan and develop our operations.

Description

In your role, you will teach wood and metal handicrafts as well as textile handicrafts.

The position is divided between two units, meaning that 50% of your position is allocated to Hishult School and the remaining 40% involves teaching Knäred School's students on-site in Veinge School's handicraft classrooms. Students from Knäred receive their handicraft education in Veinge, as there are no handicraft classrooms in Knäred.

Responsibilities

You are part of the F-6 work team at Hishult School, where you collectively drive the development of teaching at the school.

You collaborate with the school's various professions, which means close cooperation with both your colleagues in the work team and the student health team's areas of expertise to meet students' needs in both your subjects and the student's social development.

You are responsible for planning, following up, and evaluating your teaching and analyzing the educational work in accordance with the curriculum and applicable governing documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher and qualified to teach handicrafts from grades 3-9.

In the classroom, we see that you are a clear relational leader with a focus on students' goal fulfillment and that you have the ability to create an accessible learning environment characterized by safety and study peace. You have good collaboration skills, find it easy to build good relationships, and collaborate with students, guardians, the work team, and the school's student health team.

Conditions

Start date by agreement.

Fixed-term employment during the school year 25/26.
