Here at Knäred School, you become part of the team! We are the school with close and good collaboration where everyone takes good care of each other and helps out in both big and small matters; a solution-focused approach defines us. The school is multicultural, and our differences enrich, creating a wonderful dynamic and sense of community in the operation. The school is small in size with a total of 165 students from grades F-6, and we have small classes. In the after-school program, we currently have about 70 children enrolled. The school is beautifully located with good opportunities for play and outdoor education in the surroundings.

Description

We are looking for a certified teacher for Knäred School, grade 4.

The position includes mentorship and teaching for grade 4.

The position is a full-time parental substitute starting August 12, 2025, until June 17, 2026.

Teaching will take place in the subjects where you have your qualifications; based on your qualifications, you will also partially teach in grades 5 and 6.

Job Responsibilities

You will be a mentor and teacher for grade 4, as well as have some teaching in grades 5-6.

You will be part of the team for grades 4-6, where you together drive the development of teaching at the school.

In addition to teaching, you will plan, implement, evaluate, and analyze the pedagogical work in accordance with the curriculum and applicable governing documents.

You will collaborate with the school's various professionals, which means close cooperation with both your colleagues in the teams and with the student health competencies to meet students' needs in both your subjects and for the student's social development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher and qualified to teach in grade 4, preferably with a broad subject qualification.

In the classroom, we see that you are a clear and relational leader with a focus on the student's achievement and that you have the ability to create an accessible learning environment characterized by safety and study peace. You have good collaboration skills, find it easy to create good relationships, and collaborate with students, guardians, the team, and the school's student health team.

Conditions

Start date by agreement.

Temporary employment during the school year 25/26 for parental substitute.
