Porsnässkolan is a 4–9 school located in Norrfjärden, just north of Piteå, with excellent connections to both Luleå and Piteå. The school has approximately 330 students and offers a dynamic and creative working environment. The area also includes after-school care, primary schools, and preschools.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementation: Design and conduct teaching in German and English according to the curriculum.
• Follow-up and assessment: Assess and grade students' knowledge, skills, and development.
• Documentation and reporting: Document and report students' results, absences, and other information.
• Meetings and conversations: Participate in parent meetings, development talks, conferences, and other meetings.

As a pedagogical leader, you have an important mission to create a safe, stimulating, and democratic learning environment for students. The work involves significant collaboration with colleagues.

Mentorship is included in the assignment.

Qualifications

• Education and certification: Degree and certification as a teacher in German and English for grades 7–9, as well as knowledge of the school's governing documents and curricula.
• Pedagogical insights: Good pedagogical insights and ability to collaborate and create good relationships with students and colleagues.
• Security and clarity: As a teacher, you need to feel secure and be able to be clear in your assignment.

Previous work with students in need of support is meritorious. We may also be interested in candidates with other pedagogical education and can then offer a fixed-term employment according to the Education Act.
