The municipal executive office operates on behalf of the municipal council. We lead, manage, support, and follow up to ensure that the entire municipality is run efficiently and purposefully. We are a total of about 400 employees distributed across five departments. About the Workplace

The Land and Development Section works with community building and development issues in connection with the preparation and implementation of detailed plans for new land use. Many large projects are ongoing and planned to meet an increased pace in housing construction, more workplaces, and improved infrastructure in accordance with the municipality's goals. The section's tasks include land allocations, negotiations, contract issues, and street cost issues.

The section's mission also includes issues related to the municipality's property ownership, such as buying and selling land, various types of land leases, and the ongoing management of the municipality's parcel land. The Land and Development Section is one of four sections within the Community Building Department of the municipal executive office. The mission of the Community Building Department is to plan, develop, and build an ecologically, socially, and economically sustainable society.

Currently, there are 25 employees in the Land and Development Section, consisting of project managers and development engineers, among others. The development engineers work on both development projects and land management issues based on the municipality's role as a property owner. We have a good working climate with strong cohesion and close collaboration with other sections and departments.

Job Responsibilities

To meet the increased pace of community building and the need for an expanded organization, the Community Building Department is now seeking a coordinator in land management for the Land and Development Section. As a coordinator, your role is to support, motivate, and coordinate development engineers in land management issues within the section's mission as property owners.

Your role also includes overall coordination and identifying development needs within the land management area to ensure quality and equality.

In your role, you will have coordination responsibility for property owner issues within the section, such as buying and selling properties, various land leases, etc. You will have an advisory role, monitor equality and legal handling, and lead forums for property owner issues for experience exchange between the section's land management areas. Your responsibilities also include quality reviewing documents and being responsible for municipal-wide agreements and matters concerning the municipality as a property owner.

The position involves close collaboration with development engineers and property administrators, as well as the section manager. You will also collaborate with other departments that handle similar matters. The position also includes processing land management matters and collaborating with other departments that handle similar matters.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant university education focused on surveying, property law, or another equivalent university education. To succeed in the role, experience from legal work is required. You are accustomed to analyzing and interpreting legislation and case law and have property law knowledge focusing on property law; the Land Code, PBL, the Property Formation Act, the Expropriation Act, etc. We would also like you to have experience in contract writing; focusing on buying and selling properties and various land lease agreements, as well as negotiation.

We consider professional experience from the community building process and previous experience from a coordinating role as meritorious. Municipal experience is also seen as an advantage. Since a large part of the work consists of dialogue with landowners and collaboration with both internal and external actors, we are looking for someone who is communicative and collaborates smoothly and attentively with others. Other important qualities for the role are that you are analytical, meticulous, and structured. You have the ability to weigh different interests against each other and to see the whole.
