AVESTAHEALTH CLINIC

AvestaHealth Clinic has been established since 2012 and currently has nearly 8000 registered patients. We have about 35 employees including general practitioners, resident doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, midwives, child health care nurses, district nurses with various specialties, advisory nurses, medical secretaries, psychotherapists, and nursing assistants, as well as our own lab.

We are a privately owned health center that has a care choice agreement with Region Dalarna, so for the individual patient, the same conditions, care guarantees, and fees apply as in a publicly operated health center. AvestaHealth Clinic is independent of large healthcare companies and operates solely in Avesta, but has many registered patients from surrounding municipalities in both southern Dalarna and northern Västmanland.

PSYCHOTHERAPIST

We are now looking for an additional psychotherapist.

Here is an opportunity for you who are interested in working with mild to moderate mental health issues in close collaboration with other interdisciplinary professional groups within primary care. We have two part-time employed psychotherapists at the clinic.

The work is conducted according to national guidelines with assessment interviews, as well as in primary care's commitment regarding mental health both individually and in groups.

As an employee at AvestaHealth Clinic, you will perform assessments of mental health issues and work with psychotherapeutic treatments that, after assessment and agreement, can be conducted individually, in groups, or via internet-based treatment programs.

Qualifications

Requirements

At least step-1 training in psychotherapy.

Your primary profession is psychotherapist, social worker, nurse, or other relevant education.

Desirable

Experience working in primary care.

Experience working with multimodal teams and crisis support.

Experience working in Cosmic.

Personal qualities

We place great importance on personal qualities. You should have good ability and experience in collaborating both internally and externally. You have an interest in participating in the clinic's development work.
