The Children and Youth Administration is responsible for Halmstad's municipal preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, after-school care, and culture schools. Every day, approximately 16,000 children attend one of our facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged educator with work experience. At Lyngåkraskolan, we work based on DIA (Participation, Influence, and Responsibility) and co-creative leadership. We work to develop the operations together and contribute with different perspectives that create the best possible conditions for students' learning. As an educator, you drive the pedagogical and development work forward in accordance with our governing documents and visions together with your colleagues.

You will have the opportunity to be part of and actively engage in our directional sense where we work based on real influence over methods, work forms, and the content of the operations. This allows for seeing the whole in the school's mission and provides support in working with the intentions of the curriculum while ensuring the quality of the operations. We are looking for someone who is flexible and who wants to challenge and be challenged together with future colleagues!

You will primarily work in the school's after-school care and support learning in the classrooms during school hours. There, you will work closely with the mentor and teaching teacher to create a good learning environment for all students.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed teacher with a focus on after-school care. We place great importance on personal suitability for the job.

OTHER

You do this by proving your citizenship in the EU/EES or Switzerland through a passport, national ID card, or personal certificate along with an identity document. If you cannot do this, you need to present a work permit or show that you are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit.

If you are offered employment within the Children and Youth Administration, you are required to present a clean extract from the Police's criminal record for work in schools/preschools. The extract is free of charge and takes about 2-3 weeks for the police to process. Therefore, order in good time!
