The Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. We are looking for someone who works independently, has good experience in orthopedics, and wants to be part of our team!

The orthopedic clinic conducts outpatient activities, outpatient surgeries, and day surgeries in the operating unit.

The clinic is purely elective and open Monday to Friday. Close collaboration with the hospital's surgical and pre-/post-departments enables effective care for our patients.

Job Responsibilities

At the Orthopedic Clinic, you will be part of a team of knowledgeable colleagues, which allows for continuous exchange of experience and knowledge. The work includes both outpatient clinic work, day surgeries, and outpatient surgeries at the clinic. There are great opportunities to influence the direction of the operations depending on interest, experience, and competence.

Qualifications

Specialist competence in orthopedics with broad clinical experience. Competence in hand, foot, and shoulder surgery is an advantage. We value interest in teamwork and operational development.
