Ekparken is a smaller residence focused on individuals with cognitive diseases. We strive to work person-centered and with great respect for the individual. Our residents should have a significant involvement in how their services are provided. The residence is centrally located close to public transport and several beautiful green areas. In total, there are 40 apartments here. Within walking distance, there are grocery stores, pizzerias, grills, and Örgryte New Church. On the other side of the road, the entire Delsjö area unfolds with scenic paths and hiking trails.

In your work, you start from the strengths of the resident and utilize the individual's resources. You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual circumstances in their own home, which is part of the care and nursing home.

Your tasks include everything from personal care, support around meals, encouragement and support in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives. Some tasks you perform on behalf of licensed staff. You are also the contact person who helps the resident articulate their needs and wishes.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant, can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate for protected professional title or can show that you were employed as a care assistant when the new regulations were introduced. It is meritorious if you have further education focused on dementia or geriatric psychiatry. Experience from previous care and nursing work is desirable but not required. It is meritorious if you have previous experience working with a zero vision in dementia care.

The job requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills both spoken and written to communicate effectively with others.
