About the Position

As an operational purchaser and logistics manager at Marstrom Composite AB, you will play an important role in ensuring a well-functioning and cost-effective material supply for our production. In your work, you will handle both operational and strategic issues, and you will be responsible for developing the company's strategic purchasing position with a long-term perspective in mind and creating the right supplier base that reflects the overall goals set by management. Furthermore, you will be responsible for all logistics and deliveries to our customers. You will work closely with our project managers and be part of an engaged team that energetically and creatively drives improvements and strives to deliver good results. In your role, you will among other things...

• actively contribute to optimizing our supply chain, which includes, among other things, ensuring relevant specifications and supplier requirements in collaboration with the rest of the organization
• negotiate, establish terms, and sign supplier agreements
• negotiate transport agreements and identify new transport solutions
• be responsible for commercial and strategic purchases of materials, products, and services
• develop strong, long-term, and competitive relationships with our suppliers
• perform supplier assessments, material planning, delivery control, and follow-up

About You

We are looking for someone who has good collaboration skills, is service-oriented, and communicative with previous experience working with purchasing, material planning, and logistics planning. You should have a relevant educational background and a good understanding of the overall flow. As a person, you thrive in a structured work environment, are flexible, and independently drive your work forward.

We are looking for someone who…

• has relevant education and/or work experience that we consider equivalent
• has several years of experience in purchasing work, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• has excellent negotiation skills and the ability to create good business and relationships
• has a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English

Experience and a good understanding of work in the manufacturing industry and the business system Pyramid are advantageous. We also appreciate a technical interest.
