About the Role

As Creative Director, you are the driving force behind our creative vision and ensure that all ongoing productions align with our artistic and strategic goals. You are responsible for the creative processes from concept to finished production. You will also be responsible for establishing and optimizing workflows between our three studios, ensuring smooth collaboration and high-quality deliveries.

Your workdays will consist of

Collaboration across disciplines: Work closely with product owners to ensure that the visual style enhances and supports the gaming experience, narrative, and overall for the player.
Creative leadership: Define and maintain the overall artistic tone in all projects, ensuring that the visual experience conveys the right feeling.
Guidance of creative teams: Mentor and lead Art Directors, artists, and animators to ensure creative consistency and high quality.
Process development: Establish best practices for art direction, concept development, and collaboration between different teams.
Innovation & vision: Be a driving creative force within the company, inspiring new ideas and challenging artistic boundaries.
Strategic collaboration: Together with product owners, developers, and company management, ensure a cohesive creative strategy.

As the role evolves, more and more time is expected to be spent on processes, long-term strategy, and mentorship to create effective workflows.

Who are you?

We believe you have at least five years of experience in a leading creative role within the gaming industry or a related field. You have a strong portfolio showcasing both your artistic talent and your eye for detail. You have a great passion for creating bold and engaging gaming experiences and thrive in a leadership role where you can inspire, guide, and support others. To succeed in the role, you need to be a positive and unpretentious person who thrives in a highly collaborative environment where dialogue with various teams and stakeholders is key to success. You also have a good ability to prioritize and organize your work to meet deadlines. Our primary language is English, but in this role, you also need to have very good knowledge of Swedish.

Comfortable working in Adobe Suite: When it is easier to explain visually than with words, as well as occasions when you need to support with editing mock-ups or images.
