We are now looking for two social workers to join us at the Psychosocial Outpatient Clinic, Karlahuset, Örebro.

The workplace is characterized by great commitment, a lot of knowledge, and experience. We are looking for social workers with an interest in working with patients with complex psychiatric illnesses and who enjoy working in a team-based environment. At our clinic, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, caregivers, and nurses. We have a high degree of collaboration with neighboring care providers and other authorities.

The activities within specialist psychiatry are gathered in Örebro. Here, there are services focused on, for example, psychosis care, trauma care, dialectical behavior therapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, physiotherapy, addiction care, internet treatment, and an eating disorder clinic. We work with treatment both individually and in groups, as well as with both planned and acute visits and telephone counseling. Rehabilitation is part of our work, as are mobile interventions and patient and relative education. Together, we are around 250 employees working towards common processes and goals. We work in multidisciplinary teams based on a holistic view of the individual and adapt our care interventions to the patient's needs and circumstances. We strive to promote the involvement of relatives in care. The psychiatry in Region Örebro County is a specialist operation divided into five areas, all with a strong focus on ethics, collaboration, and development, as well as a well-functioning educational and research environment. Job Responsibilities

As a social worker, you will work with conversation therapy, such as motivational, grief, and crisis conversations, as well as psychoeducational treatment interventions. The position may also include home visits. The social worker is the professional in healthcare with social legal competence who safeguards the patient's rights in society and monitors changes in current legislation. Within the social legal area, the social worker assists with statements and provides support for applications and appeals. The social worker also offers social support regarding, for example, housing issues and finances, as well as providing information, advice, referrals, and support in the patient's contact with various authorities.

The social worker conducts various types of social investigations, including comprehensive social investigations that provide a holistic view of the patient's life and more specific social investigations, for example, in cases of the need for a guardian. The social worker offers support to relatives, which includes conversations, psychoeducation, and information about the support options available in society. The social worker also works with family and network work. The social worker serves as a consultative support to colleagues in matters concerning children and families, for example, in cases of concern reports. The support also includes consultation on other issues related to the Social Services Act. The social worker maintains continuous contact with neighboring care providers and collaborators, such as ward 1, social psychiatry, the Employment Agency, the Social Insurance Agency, workplaces, and schools, as well as with guardians, administrators, and social psychiatry staff.

Qualifications

Licensed healthcare social worker or degree in social work. Previous experience in social work is an advantage. The work requires that you have good initiative, collaboration skills, sound judgment, flexibility, and the ability to make independent decisions. We see it as an advantage if you have an interest/experience in working with patients and their relatives both in groups and individually. For both patients and employees, we value an open and positive attitude, naturally with the patient at the center. It is important that you are unpretentious, curious to learn new things, and see constructive feedback as a natural part of daily work for your and others' development. Contributing to the development and quality work of the organization is seen as a natural part of your work.

You should have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
