FMTS Training Unit

The Technical Department's activities include training in Technical Support Systems, FENIX, PRIO, and RSF. Aircraft maintenance JAS39, base material maintenance, planning, and execution. Engine test house, operation, and maintenance. Base operations airport, military and civilian airport, as well as ramp services military air station.
Main Responsibilities
The Technical Department is organized within the Training Unit and consists of two sections. As the Aircraft Maintenance Manager and head of the Technical Department, you will lead and coordinate the aircraft maintenance service within FMTS. Additionally, the Aircraft Maintenance Manager supports Halmstad airport regarding military air station services and material services concerning ground and command material.

- Officer with aviation technical education or flight engineer

- Certificate for aircraft maintenance
- Type training on military flight systems

Other
The position is located at FMTS in Halmstad. The position is a military position and is a permanent full-time employment, a six-month probationary period applies for those who are currently not employed by the Armed Forces. Service and standby on evenings and weekends may occur. The service level is OF3 (Major). Start date by agreement.

The Swedish Armed Forces Technical School, FMTS, based in Halmstad, is a logistics unit where technology is at the center.
