We are now looking for a curator to join us at the general psychiatric outpatient clinic at Karlskoga Hospital in Karlskoga. We are a team and a unit with great commitment, a lot of knowledge, and experience. The team currently consists of three curators with a good mix of competence and background. Together with other professional groups within the unit, we collaborate to provide the best possible care in the field of general psychiatry. The outpatient care of general psychiatry is part of the general psychiatry operational area. Our clinics are located in Hallsberg, Karlskoga, Lindesberg, and Örebro. Specialized clinics for, for example, electroconvulsive therapy, affective disorders, deaf psychiatry, and gender dysphoria are located in Örebro. We work with both individual and group therapy, as well as planned and emergency visits and telephone counseling. Rehabilitation is part of our work, as well as mobile interventions and patient and family education. Together we work with common processes and goals. We work in multiprofessional teams based on a holistic view of the individual and adapt our care interventions to the patient's needs and circumstances. We strive to promote the involvement of relatives in the care. Job Responsibilities

The curator coordinates efforts with various stakeholders, monitors and meets patients' needs and rights. The curator has responsibilities such as patient conversations, provides social counseling, and implements social measures and coordination to support and assist the patient. Digital visits, physical visits, and follow-ups via phone are daily tasks. The curator profession is the only profession in health care with social legal/juridical competence.

Qualifications

Licensed health care curator. Basic Psychotherapy Training Step-1 CBT is an advantage. You who have a social work degree without this further education are also welcome to apply. We are looking for someone who is interested in working with a broad psychiatric assignment. In the event of employment, further education may be part of the individual competence development plan.

We are looking for someone who is driven and interested. You have the ability to see the whole picture and are active in collaboration with our patients, within the unit, with other units, and care neighbors. Having a good patient focus and wanting to help develop evidence-based treatments is a given for us. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as the ability to take initiative, work independently, and have good collaboration skills. A driving license (B) is an advantage.
