ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Human Resource student who wants a part-time job alongside your studies starting this spring. The working hours will be adapted to our needs and your availability based on your studies, which can be a few hours a week up to about 20 hours a week. We would like you to start this spring and also work during the summer of 2025. When you are ready for your internship, you will have a place with us, and we will find a suitable assignment together.

The work will mainly involve HR administrative tasks, such as reviewing our governing documents, procedures, and anything else that needs updating. You will also assist with administration related to potential recruitments and help coordinate our summer workers. You will help where needed and gain insight and experience of what it is like to work in an HR department.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone studying Human Resource Management in their 5th semester who will do their internship in the fall. We believe you are curious about working in an HR department and are open to learning more and taking on tasks primarily related to HR administration. As a person, we think you are open, unpretentious, and solution-oriented.

We believe you will thrive in the role if you are used to working in a solution-oriented and structured manner. You have the ability to collaborate with all types of positions and have a strong sense of service. You are proactive and can independently drive your own work forward. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial, especially considering that the work primarily occurs in our production environment where changes happen daily. Since the work involves sensitive and often confidential tasks, the highest standards of confidentiality are required.

You have good administrative skills and proficiency in the Office suite, as well as good knowledge of both Swedish and English. It is important for us in the HR department to provide professional support while also enjoying our work together.

At Suzuki Garphyttan, we manufacture advanced steel products for high-performance applications. Our work is based on sustainable production methods, innovative technology, and, not least, our 100 years of experience. Our innovative products make a difference in the automotive industry, medical technology, energy sector, and food industry.

We have our roots in Garphyttan but are now a global company and part of the Japanese Nippon Steel Corporation. We conduct environmentally licensed manufacturing in Sweden, the UK, the USA, Mexico, and China. We also have a sales office in Germany.

In the HR department, the HR manager, 2 HR specialists, HR administrator, and Payroll specialist work together. We deal broadly with all HR issues to support the business in the best way possible. For us, it is important to be professional in our daily work but also to have fun together.
