Software Developer for Missile Systems

Your Role

As a software developer within Missile Systems, you will be part of a highly skilled team that develops and maintains advanced planning systems for Robot 15. The system includes both hardware-near interfaces for communication with the missile and the operator's graphical user interface.

You will work in cross-functional, agile teams where we tackle the entire development chain together - from design and implementation to testing and maintenance. We work with languages such as C/C++, Python, and Ada, and use a mix of proven and modern tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira, DOORS NG, Qt, and Jenkins.

Your Profile

You have a genuine interest in technology and software and enjoy working in teams. To succeed with us, we believe you are driven by problem-solving and motivated to find effective and sustainable solutions, regardless of the tools used.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least five years of experience in system development
• Has experience in design work and software architecture, preferably in C, C++, or Ada
• Has worked with software testing and quality assurance in any of these languages
• Is used to working in agile teams and is driven by collaboration and knowledge sharing

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail citizenship requirements.
