We are opening the exciting role of a 2D Artist in our Stockholm studio at Relax. You will be part of the Art Team responsible for creating stunning visuals for the games offered by Relax Studios.

This is an exciting opportunity for a 2D Artist with a genuine passion for creating top-quality artwork for some of the best games in the Casino industry.

The role of a 2D Artist is integral to our reputation with our operators and players. The role requires artistic talent, the ability to work within a team, and a keen eye for detail. This role will help create the awesome game art the Relax Stockholm games are known for.

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and diligent candidate who loves to create beautiful artwork and collaborate with the studio teams.

Key Knowledge/Requirements:

• A strong, visually compelling portfolio.
• Strong artistic skills.
• Some Knowledge in animation.
• Creative thinking.
• Great knowledge of digital art software.
• Understanding and interest in game design and development
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D artwork for our games.
• Develop concept art and final game art like; symbols, UI elements, characters, and environments.
• Collaborate with the game design and development teams to ensure visual consistency.
• Focus on quality and creativity.
• Making sure our games look visually stunning!

Bonus Points For:

• Animation and motion design (Spine, AFX or similar).
• Passionate about games.
• Ability to create and follow art guidelines.
• Understanding of casino games mechanics.

• Photoshop – Clip Studio – After Effects – Spine - Nuke – Substance – Maya - Zbrush

Life at Relax

This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, with a hybrid work from home model. The Relax game studio in Stockholm is in the Galleria, right in the middle of the central part of the city. The studio is a five-minute walk from the central station and all types of shopping and restaurants can be found outside our doorstep.
