We are currently looking for an experienced Service Designer for an exciting and long-term consultancy assignment within the public sector.

In this role, you will work with service design in complex digital initiatives where collaboration between authorities, private actors, and other stakeholders is a natural part of everyday life. You will become a key part of developing user-centered services and creating sustainable solutions that work for both the business and the users.

The work is carried out in cross-functional teams where you collaborate with operations, development, management, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to translate needs and insights into concrete services and solutions.

• Lead and drive service design work through the entire development process.

• Identify user needs through interviews, observations, and other user-centered methods.

• Conduct target group analyses and needs assessments.

• Create customer journeys, user journeys, actor maps, and other service design artifacts.

• Plan and facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders.

• Work closely with operations, development teams, and other specialists to create user-friendly solutions.

• Develop concepts and prototypes.

• Ensure a holistic perspective where services and actors collaborate within larger ecosystems.

• Work iteratively according to Design Thinking and established service design methods.

• Several years of experience in service design.

• Experience with Design Thinking and established service design methods.

• Experience in user-centered work through, for example, interviews, observations, and co-creation.

• Experience in planning and facilitating workshops.

• Experience in creating customer journeys, user journeys, actor maps, or similar artifacts.

• Experience working iteratively in cross-functional teams.

• Excellent ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to work independently, be proactive, and build good collaborations.

• Ability to work 100% on-site in Sundsvall.

• Ability to provide two relevant references.

• Experiences and competencies must be verifiable in the CV.

• Clean background check required before the start of the assignment.

• Experience from the public sector.

• Experience working in complex ecosystems with multiple organizations and stakeholders.

• Experience in business-oriented digital development.

• Experience with legal and security-related requirements.

• Experience with Figma, FigJam, Jira, and Confluence.
