Welcome to develop with us

As a social escort, you support a youth or adult with a disability in social activities. This could include accompanying them on a walk, visiting a swimming pool or gym, or participating in cultural activities such as museums or the cinema.

Your assignment

As an escort, you help the individual participate in community life outside their home and facilitate contact with other people. This may involve participating in various leisure activities, meeting friends, or simply taking a walk.

The assignment is for 8 hours per month, and you will agree with the recipient of the service on how these hours are distributed. Please note that the hours may increase in the future, and the employment will last as long as the assignment continues.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for someone who speaks fluent Romanian and can perform the assignment during the afternoons.

You are passionate about working with people, are considerate, and are driven by a strong commitment to helping others. You see the needs of others, take initiative, and know how to motivate and support a person with a disability.

No specific education is required to become an escort, but we would appreciate if you have some prior experience working with people with various disabilities covered by the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
