About the role

Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled Persons). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everyday occurrences and basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The client is a woman in her 40s living in Kista. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, and tasks may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities both inside and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is crucial that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• the client prefers female applicants

• good proficiency in Swedish

• ability to work a varied schedule, including both day and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends

• physically strong and capable of performing manual transfers

• view the position as a long-term opportunity

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment percentage of approximately 55%. Working hours are scheduled for days and evenings. Shifts vary but are typically between 08:00-16:00 and 15:00-23:00. Double assistance is sometimes required.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date by agreement.
