Business Architect at Bolagsverket in Sundsvall

About the role

The purpose of Bolagsverket's operations is to provide conditions for a stable and well-functioning business sector. By registering and providing current and accurate company information, we contribute to increased transparency and security for societal actors. We strive to make it as easy as possible to start and run a business, and contribute in collaboration with others to ensure that companies are not used as tools for crime.

We face many exciting challenges and assignments that involve both the development of existing operations and the establishment of new business areas. As a Business Architect, you have an important role where you, together with the business, create the right conditions and structures for development work.

Your responsibilities

You will belong to the Development Office within the Department for Digital Development and Collaboration. The Development Office is responsible for preparing, planning, and following up on the long-term development plan and development portfolio. The unit is also responsible for planning and monitoring the agency's system renewal from a holistic and portfolio perspective, as well as driving and leading Bolagsverket's business architecture as part of our architecture governance.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Be responsible for driving, facilitating, and supporting the business in describing customer needs and how these affect existing and new capabilities.
• Lead, steer, and further develop Bolagsverket's business architecture together with other business architects.
• Collaborate with our IT architects to jointly describe and visualize the business using various working methods and models.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining overarching architecture principles and other governing documents for the agency's business architecture together with other business architects.
• Ensure that business architecture, processes, capabilities, and information architecture work together to meet the agency's strategy and basic prerequisites.
• Act as a contact point and advisor for various stakeholders, such as different project managers. The work includes both agency-internal and agency-wide activities, which may involve some travel.

The location is Sundsvall or as agreed. We offer remote work, but you are expected to be regularly present at the office in Sundsvall.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant academic education or experience that the employer considers equivalent. You are also a certified business architect/commercial architect or have equivalent experience.

To succeed and thrive in the role, you need to have several years of experience in business development at both strategic and tactical levels as a senior business architect or equivalent role. Furthermore, you have solid knowledge in business architecture, processes, capabilities, and information architecture. You also have very good ability to communicate clearly, pedagogically, and target-group adapted, both in Swedish and English.

Merits

• Experience of working in the public sector or other complex organization.
• Experience within agile methods and agile architecture work.
• Certification or education in business architecture, business architecture, or established frameworks for business architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or equivalent experience.
• Experience of change management and method development within the architecture area.
• Experience/knowledge of working with IT and/or IT architecture.
