You will become part of a major initiative within the defense industry where a new End-to-End Cable Center of Excellence is being built for MIL-cabling and other advanced cable systems. Here, a cross-functional team takes responsibility for the entire chain, from concept, design, and material selection to verification, industrialization, and series production.

Depending on your background, you can contribute within management, mechanical or electrical design, materials and qualification, prototype building, testing, industrialization, project management, procurement, or supplier development. The work takes place close to both development, production, and suppliers, with short decision-making paths, significant personal responsibility, and high demands for quality and robustness.

This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to help shape working methods, flows, and delivery in a technically advanced environment where cable systems are business-critical.

• You develop, verify, and industrialize advanced cable systems for demanding applications.
• You drive or contribute to mechanical and electrical design, CAD work, material selection, and the creation of production documentation.
• You work with prototypes, test methods, verification, and analysis to ensure that solutions meet high quality requirements.
• You strengthen industrialization and series production through process development, production preparation, production adaptation, and implementation in manufacturing.
• You collaborate cross-functionally with development, production, testing, and suppliers to create efficient flows from idea to finished product.
• If your profile leans more towards management or procurement, you also have the opportunity to lead teams or projects, drive RFQ/RFI processes, follow up on deliveries, and develop the supplier base.

• You have relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: mechanical design, electrical design, materials technology, prototype building, verification and testing, industrialization, project management, strategic procurement, or supplier development.
• You have experience working with advanced technical products or systems in an environment with high demands for quality, robustness, and reliability.
• You are accustomed to working cross-functionally and taking responsibility for delivery within your specialist area.
• You work in a structured manner and thrive in close collaboration with both development, production, and external suppliers.

• Experience from MIL-cabling or other advanced cable systems.
• Experience from the defense industry, automotive industry, marine, aviation, or other advanced manufacturing industries.
• Experience with DFM/DFA, system integration, or building new working methods and teams.
