This facility is one of the largest in the Nordics for the development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of paints for indoor and outdoor environments for consumers, customers, and the industry. The operations consist mainly of two companies: AkzoNobel Industrial Coatings, which is a leader in the sales and manufacturing of paints and coatings for industrial surface treatment of wood products such as windows, doors, floors, and furniture. Some of their customers include IKEA, Montana, Kährs, and Tarkett. The second company, AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings, develops, manufactures, distributes, and sells paint, varnish, putty, and wood protection products to professional painters and consumers. The portfolio includes well-known brands such as Nordsjö, Sadolin, and Cuprinol. On site, 560 proud employees work to meet our customers' needs for high-quality products and services.

As a Quality Controller here, you will combine your interest in chemistry with an eye for detail in a role where every day offers variety, collaboration, and problem-solving. Here you become part of an engaged team where your contribution makes a difference – from color matching to the finished product.
What will you be working with?
As a Quality Controller, you will work practically in our lab, checking and approving our products before they move forward in the process. The role involves:
- Ensuring product quality by performing tests according to regulations
- Adjusting and tinting colors using both equipment and visual assessment
- Working with technical troubleshooting and documentation in our digital systems
- Contributing to improvements through, among other things, 5S and safety work
The position is full-time, and you will be based at our site just outside Malmö. The work is done in two shifts, and you will report to our Quality Control Manager.
Who are you?
You thrive in this role if you are curious, solution-oriented, and have a good sense for quality. You enjoy working practically, have an eye for detail, and appreciate being part of a team where collaboration is key – while also feeling confident taking responsibility and working independently when required.
We would like you to have:
- Post-secondary education, preferably with a focus on chemistry
- Experience working in digital systems, preferably SAP
- Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in speech and writing
Meritorious:
- Experience in quality control, laboratory work, or work with chemical products
