ABOUT THE ROLE

To our production facility in Åhus, we are now looking for a Process Engineer, Blending. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing our processes, while leading and contributing to projects in our production facilities within energy, environment, and technical problem-solving. The role involves operational work on-site in Åhus. You will become part of the Engineering function and work closely with production, technical development, and external partners in an environment characterized by innovation, quality, and collaboration.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

The role of Process Engineer, Blending is responsible for driving and developing processes throughout the entire value chain – from idea to implementation:

Project Management & Development

  • Lead and execute process and plant projects according to the company's project model
  • Work with feasibility studies, engineering design, and implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals

Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Identify and implement improvements in production, energy, and process economics
  • Optimize Cleaning in Place (CIP), minimize waste, and optimize process performance
  • Conduct risk analyses and safety work

Technical Support & Problem Solving

  • Support production with technical analysis and troubleshooting
  • Investigations and troubleshooting according to the A3 method
  • Follow-up & measurements as part of feasibility studies
  • Continuous supervision of pressure equipment
  • Marking of pipes, valves, and process components
  • Document and update P&ID and classification documents in explosion-proof (Ex) environments
  • Create and execute documentation regarding flammable substances in the area
  • Follow-up on laws, requirements, and periodic inspections
  • Participate in external audits

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure food safety and product quality
  • Act as the custodian for flammable substances
  • Serve as the contact person for machine safety

This role may be right for you if you:

  • Have an engineering degree at the university level in process, mechanical, or chemical engineering
  • Have experience in operations or production
  • Can perform calculations/simulations in a computer environment
  • Have good knowledge of process and energy technology
  • Have knowledge of economics and working environment
  • Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in process technology work or distillation
  • Experience in project management
