Job Description
The Employment Unit is now looking for a case worker who will work with job-seeking individuals aged 18–67 and with various backgrounds. These individuals are referred to the Employment Unit by collaborating actors such as the Social Services Administration, SFI (Swedish for Immigrants), and the Swedish Public Employment Service. The work as a case worker at the Employment Unit has varying elements with a common denominator – finding a path forward for the individual towards self-sufficiency. The work includes both administrative tasks and meetings with people, collaboration, and development.
As a case worker at the Employment Unit, you primarily work with individual conversations based on a tool called BIP/SKAPA, which implies a coaching approach based on the individual's needs. Group activities may also occur, both individually and together with colleagues. Here, you have your own areas of responsibility, while you share other work areas with your colleagues. A large part of the work involves handling fixed-term employment contracts related to various employment measures. In these contexts, you represent the employer. It is important that you can adapt to changes in rules and laws within the labor market area and quickly familiarize yourself with new conditions. In 2026, the Employment Unit will face a new requirement in the form of the activity requirement, which constitutes an important part of the case workers' duties.
In the role of case worker, you use the business system "Arbete och Kompetens" (Work and Competence), which is the basis for administration and requires good planning and precision. Contact with individuals, supervisors, and workplaces is crucial for developing the work and creating new opportunities for the individuals the Employment Unit serves.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with a university degree within social sciences or behavioral sciences. You are a team player who values close collaboration with colleagues. You are solution-oriented and ready to take on challenges as they arise.
As an employee with us, you need to be flexible, open to change and development, innovative, and unpretentious. You should have a respectful attitude and be skilled at presenting your work both in writing and orally.
We are looking for you who is supportive, coaching, and has the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, which is crucial for the role of case worker.

Before employment can take place, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record register.
