Are you an experienced project manager or assignment leader looking to work in a strategic function within our CIO office, which is currently being established? This could be the role for you.

About the role

As a project manager or assignment leader, you will drive investigations, preliminary studies, and assignments that contribute to the agency's continued development. The work involves analyzing operational needs, investigating technical and organizational prerequisites, and developing decision support for strategic choices. You will coordinate stakeholders from various parts of the organization and ensure that assignments are carried out in a structured, efficient, and high-quality manner.

In this role, you will work closely with operations, IT, architects, security functions, and management. You are responsible for the planning, execution, follow-up, and reporting of assignments, and you contribute to translating complex issues into concrete recommendations and action plans.

Here, you will have the opportunity to work with socially important services that impact individuals, healthcare providers, and other actors within Sweden's e-health ecosystem.

About you

We are looking for you who is an experienced project or assignment leader with the ability to drive complex assignments from idea to delivery. You are analytical, structured, and create engagement among various stakeholders. You work independently but also have strong collaboration skills and build strong relationships. You thrive at the intersection of technology, operational development, and strategy, and can switch between the big picture and details. You communicate clearly and present complex information in a pedagogical manner, both verbally and in writing.

We are looking for you who has:

• Relevant academic education in fields such as IT, systems science, engineering, or informatics, or alternatively, relevant work experience that we assess as equivalent.
• Several years of current work experience in leading projects, assignments, and investigations within IT.
• Several years of work experience in analyzing operational needs and translating them into decision support, recommendations, and actionable activities.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

The following qualifications are meritorious for the role:

• Work experience in larger organizations or public sector operations in the field.
• Work experience in digitalization within the healthcare sector.
• Work experience in CIO functions, IT governance, or portfolio management.
• Work experience in agile development and agile working methods.

The employment is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. The location of employment is Stockholm or Kalmar. The work may involve business travel, primarily between Kalmar and Stockholm.
