We are facing a historic development. As a key part of community building in northern Sweden, where some of the most crucial investments are taking place, we are now looking for the right person for this important role as Site Supervisor for one of our complex projects. About the Role of Site Supervisor As a Site Supervisor at NCC, you have an important and central role in production. You are responsible for leading and preparing work within your assigned area of responsibility, involving relevant employees and subcontractors. You work closely with the Site Manager but also have a team of professional employees and specialists at your disposal. The role also includes:
- Ensuring that safety regulations are followed and that all employees are aware of the rules and laws in the field.
- Procuring and requesting resources for assigned tasks in consultation with the Site Manager.
- Being responsible for results within the assigned area, in agreement with the Site Manager.
In the role of Site Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to use and develop your leadership skills in daily work, where you are responsible for leading both subcontractors and skilled workers. A central part of your assignment is to create engagement and involvement in the team – you coach and motivate your colleagues so that together we can utilize our combined competence and achieve a successful result in the project. Your Profile as Site Supervisor We are looking for you who have at least 3 years of experience or more as a Site Supervisor in construction production and relevant education in construction and civil engineering from a university college or university. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and have good communication skills. You are confident in your leadership role and have the ability to create engagement and involvement in the project organization. You work proactively to ensure efficient collaboration and have an easy time building long-term and trusting relationships – both internally with colleagues and externally with subcontractors.
- Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
Meritorious:
- Experience from larger industrial projects.
- Experience with concrete and earthworks.
- Experience from complex production environments with high safety requirements.
- Certifications such as Concrete Class 1 or 2.
To succeed in the role, you are a confident and experienced leader with a strong ability to create structure, drive production, and make decisions. You have good communication skills and can build trust both internally and externally. You are solution-oriented, responsible, and have the ability to work strategically while maintaining operational control over production. Location We expect 100% presence in Luleå, a prerequisite for succeeding in the role. However, it is possible to take on this role even for those living elsewhere. NCC arranges travel and accommodation, and 100% physical presence can be Monday–Thursday or alternatively Tuesday–Friday.
