We are currently recruiting for a Senior Construction Engineer for one of our clients.

We are one of Sweden's largest private, specialized civil engineering companies with a turnover of approx. 1 MSEK. We provide construction-related services within earthworks, civil engineering, concrete, and railways. Our headquarters are located on both the south and north sides of Stockholm.

In our projects, you will encounter challenges in the form of complexity and various technical areas. The projects are primarily located in Stockholm and the Mälaren Valley region.

The Role of Construction Engineer

As a Construction Engineer, you have an important role where you, together with procurement, cost estimation, and site managers, steer the project forward and work actively to achieve jointly set goals.

Who are you?

You are a driven Construction Engineer with broad competence within earthworks and civil engineering, and you are confident in the daily challenges involved in the job. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are good at planning, making, and driving through decisions, as well as having a good ability to prioritize your tasks.

Competency Requirements – Senior Construction Engineer (civil, building, and larger projects)

• At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Engineer or Site Manager
• University degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of Construction Law (AB04 and ABT06)
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering AMA and MER Civil Engineering
• Control over all contract documents in projects
• Purchasing of subcontractors and materials in projects
• Quantity adjustments in contracts
• Handle and price additional works (ÄTA) and change orders (PM) in projects
• Final cost forecasts and cost follow-up
• Experience working in projects with many different technical areas and many subcontractors
• Create and follow up on QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) work in the project

A B-class driver's license is obviously a requirement.
