It is on behalf of the government that the Swedish National Property Board (SFV) manages our shared natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties, including government buildings, courts, palaces and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.

The SFV Ulriksdal property area manages, among other things, the royal palaces of Ulriksdal, Haga, Rosersberg, Strömsholm, Gripsholm, and Tullgarn, along with their associated palace grounds and parks, as well as several other buildings in the Stockholm area, Södermanland, and Västmanland. We are a team of about 35 people working at SFV Ulriksdal. At the Strömsholm operations office, approximately five people work: a technical manager, operations technician, operations manager, and park technician.
Your Role
As an operations technician, you will be part of a group where you collectively are responsible for the operation and management of several buildings within the operational area. Collaboration is central, and you will solve tasks together. You will work closely with both colleagues and tenants, contributing to ensuring long-term sustainable and efficient property management, often in unique and culturally historic environments.
Your main responsibilities:
- supervision and maintenance of properties,
- media monitoring and operational optimization,
- systematic fire safety work,
- participation in projects,
- responsibility for certain area-spanning tasks.
Special working conditions:
- travel within the operational area occurs,
- the work takes place primarily on-site in the buildings,
- work in culturally historic environments with specific requirements and considerations.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who have:
- education in operations technology, property technology, or equivalent. Alternatively, equivalent competence acquired through work experience,
- experience with practical tasks such as supervision, maintenance, or fault correction,
- basic technical knowledge in property operations,
- good computer skills and experience with digital systems,
- valid driver's license (Category B),
- good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Merits:
- education in areas such as: systematic fire safety work (SBA), energy optimization, control and regulation technology
- experience working as an operations technician in a property company or similar business,
- experience with systematic fire safety work,
- experience working in projects or in collaboration with contractors,
- experience working in culturally historic buildings,
- experience with media monitoring and operational optimization,
- knowledge of control and monitoring systems,
- craftsmanship skills.

You will be employed as: Operations Technician
Employment type: This is a permanent full-time position. SFV applies a 6-month probation period.
Location: Strömsholm
Start date: As agreed
Remote work opportunity: Limited. The work is performed on-site, so there is no regular opportunity for remote work. However, remote work may be granted on rare occasions after dialogue with the manager.
Before a decision on employment is made, a security investigation according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted. If the position involves a security clearance, the investigation will also include a register check, and in some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.
The Swedish National Property Board operates in industries exposed to various risks of irregularities; therefore, preventive measures include positions where suitability assessments are conducted.
