Here, you will join the Rock Drilling Tools division, which develops and manufactures products for rock drilling and ground support for customers around the globe. On the heat treatment department, approximately 36 employees work to ensure that our products have the right properties and quality before moving on in production. Here, you will meet a tight-knit team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engagement are a natural part of everyday life.

Your role

As an operator in heat treatment, you work with one of the most important processes in the manufacturing of our rock drilling products. You are responsible for monitoring and managing heat treatment processes for drill rods, tubes, and drill bits, as well as ensuring that the products meet our quality requirements.

The role includes:

  • Operating and monitoring our heat treatment lines.
  • Monitoring temperatures, gas flows, and other process parameters.
  • Performing checks and ensuring that products meet the correct specifications.
  • Carrying out basic operator maintenance.
  • Reporting deviations and contributing to improvement work.
  • Operating stacker cranes and four-way trucks for internal transport.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a stable production flow.

Requirements:

  • High school education.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Category B driver's license, AM license, or tractor license.

Merits:

  • Industrial technical education.
  • Experience working in production.
  • Experience with heat treatment.
  • Forklift license A+B and overhead crane license.

Location and Other Details

The position is located in Fagersta, Sweden. The work is shift-based, including day, evening, and night shifts, as well as weekends. The position is a fixed-term employment starting immediately and lasting until the turn of the year, with possibilities for extension.
