The Swedish Armed Forces are in an expansion phase and on a significant growth journey. Do you want to contribute to staffing our operations, ensuring a stronger defense and a safer world? Together with competent and engaged colleagues, you will have responsibility, development, and challenges. All of this with an employer that encourages work-life balance and good health.
Main Responsibilities
As a Recruiter, you will help build a new recruitment function where you will have the opportunity to influence how we work and take the initiative for new approaches to successfully recruit the right competence at the right time. You will work broadly with attraction, recruitment, and onboarding in collaboration with the rest of the recruitment team, managers, and HR.
Together with the rest of the recruitment team, you will be responsible for attracting candidates by participating in events and fairs, designing recruitment campaigns, and more. An important part of your work is also to actively work with search and candidate dialogue. You will drive your recruitment processes independently, from requirement profile to employment, ensuring that recruitment takes place in a competence-based, legally secure, and structured manner. You will work closely with our managers in Central Sweden, and business travel to various operational sites is a natural part of everyday life.
Together with the rest of the recruitment team, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the onboarding of new employees takes place in a professional and efficient manner. As a recruiter, you will primarily recruit IT personnel, but recruitment for other areas may occur. The role also includes supporting the HR department with other tasks within the HR area.
What We Offer
At the Swedish Armed Forces, there is a strong value base built on openness, results, and responsibility. The operations offer great variation and complexity, as well as high security requirements, which means good development opportunities and conditions for internal career mobility. Our employees have several different benefits, including:
- Competence development based on the organization's needs and your career goals
- Three hours of exercise per week during working hours, and you can receive compensation for exercise clothing and start fees
- Good balance between work and leisure with flexible working hours and 28-35 days of vacation depending on your age
- Salary supplement during parental leave and sick leave for children, as well as the opportunity to exchange vacation days for extra pension savings
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in HR/recruitment, or equivalent work experience assessed by the employer as equivalent.
- Several years of experience in competence-based recruitment.
- Current and relevant work experience from, or knowledge of, the IT industry.
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and good understanding of English.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
Meritorious Qualifications
- Experience of recruitment within a government agency.
- Experience in driving many complex recruitment processes in parallel.
- Experience working with attraction/employer branding, for example through campaigns, events, etc.
- Experience with onboarding/introduction of new employees.
Personal Attributes
We are looking for you who find it easy to build trusting relationships, both internally and externally. You are receptive and flexible, which makes it easy for you to adapt to changed circumstances. You organize and plan your work well and prioritize activities in an efficient manner. As a recruiter, you set high goals for yourself and work for quality in every recruitment. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your processes forward, even in challenging circumstances.
