As a Maintenance Technician at Scan, you play a crucial role in production by ensuring the operation of machines and equipment. The role is varied and requires both technical competence and a structured approach to troubleshooting. You will become part of a team consisting of both mechanics and electricians who together are responsible for ensuring stable and efficient production.
The work takes place in a technologically advanced environment focusing on processing, packaging, and logistics of finished products, where you will work close to modern production lines.
The position involves working in three shifts (day, evening, and night), and you are offered an introduction to give you the best conditions for entering the role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan
- Troubleshoot machines, electrical equipment, and automated systems
- Repair production equipment both in operation and in the workshop
- Read and work according to electrical diagrams to locate faults
- Report completed work in the maintenance system
- Participate in improvement work and technical projects
Who we are looking for
We are looking for you who have education in electricity or automation and practical experience working with electricity in an industrial environment, preferably as an industrial electrician. You are confident in troubleshooting machines and have developed a structured approach where you use electrical diagrams as a natural tool to quickly identify and rectify problems.
You are hands-on and enjoy working with your hands, close to equipment and machines in production. The role suits you if you like taking initiative, working solution-oriented, and are motivated by making things work in a technical environment. To succeed and thrive at Scan, we believe you also have strong drive and a desire to continue developing and learning new things. You take initiative in your work, work carefully and methodically, and find it easy to collaborate with others.
Furthermore, you have good computer skills, are proficient in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing, and hold a B driver's license.
Merits:
- Experience working with various types of production machines
- Knowledge of PLC and control systems
- Mechanical competence or experience with mechanical maintenance
- Forklift and/or cherry picker license
