At HydX, we combine hydraulics, automation, control systems, and extensive system experience to create smart solutions for customers across various industries. It is precisely this combination of high technical competence and the ability to turn ideas into working solutions that sets us apart. Together with our guiding star, Smoother Business, we strive to make life easier for our customers. This is evident in everything we do.
We are now looking for a Project Manager who wants to ensure that our projects are carried out efficiently, structured, and with high quality. This role is perfect for you if you appreciate the combination of technology, administration, and communication, and thrive being the hub between customers, suppliers, production, the engineering department, and other colleagues.
Job DescriptionAs a Project Manager at HydX, you are responsible for driving and coordinating projects from order to final delivery. You work with several parallel projects simultaneously, where each project is in different phases. One moment you are planning a new project, the next you are following up on materials for another, and then you ensure that a third project is ready for delivery. You become a crucial link between sales, design, purchasing, production, and the customer. To succeed, you must be able to create structure, prioritize correctly, and ensure that information and decisions reach the right people at the right time.
In this role, you will among other things:
- Register and administer projects and orders in the business system.
- Ensure that materials, resources, and capacity are available for each project.
- Plan and follow up on project schedules and milestones.
- Work with technical documentation, drawings, and project documentation.
- Ensure that documentation is completed prior to production, testing, and delivery.
- Coordinate activities between the customer, sales, design, and production.
- Monitor changes and communicate consequences to relevant parties.
- Plan and coordinate tests, verifications, and any FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) activities.
- Follow up on projects until completion, documentation, and invoicing.
- Participate in and contribute to internal improvement and development projects.
The role involves many contact surfaces, both internally and externally. Sometimes it is about coordinating and facilitating. Sometimes it is about following up, asking questions, and pushing forward to obtain the information or decisions required for the project to move forward.
The Profile We Are Looking ForWe believe you are a person who appreciates structure but also thrives in a business where a lot is happening. You like to stay ahead, plan forward, and create order in complex contexts.
You do not need to be a specialist in hydraulics, but you need to have a genuine technical interest and sufficient technical understanding to work with drawings, technical documentation, and project-related documentation.
To succeed in this role, we believe you:
- Have a technical education, at least a vocational upper secondary technical program or equivalent technical background.
- Have experience in project management, project coordination, or a similar role within industrial operations.
- Are accustomed to working with several parallel projects simultaneously.
- Have strong administrative skills and enjoy order and structure.
- Can read, understand, and work from technical documentation and drawings.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and colleagues.
- Have the ability to create momentum and follow up on activities until they are completed.
- Think several steps ahead and easily see connections and consequences.
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Contribute positive energy, willingness to collaborate, and a solution-oriented approach.
Experience with hydraulics, automation, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing industry is meritorious, but we also value people with the right attitude, drive, and willingness to develop together with us.
Your Career at HydXHydX believes in success through the strong and well-functioning team built by the development and stimulation of each individual employee. If the team wins, everyone wins.
Therefore, we always show each other trust, respect, and helpfulness. As engineers, technicians, salespeople, economists, administrators, and leaders, we focus on quality and innovation within our respective areas of expertise.
With us, you get the opportunity to develop in a technical environment where competence, collaboration, and long-term perspective are at the center.
