We welcome you if you are looking for a job where no two days are alike and where your contribution makes a significant difference for our patients. If you, like us, believe that good treatment and professional collaboration are important, you will thrive with us. Here you will work in a varied and developmental environment where commitment, responsibility, and a desire to help others are at the center.

Dialysis is an exciting field that is constantly evolving, where the interplay between medical technology and nursing care is of great importance. At our facility, chronically ill kidney patients receive regular blood dialysis treatment. We also admit patients with acute kidney failure. To offer the best possible care to our patients, we have close collaboration between nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, paramedics, and medical technology engineers.

Our operations are physically divided into two dialysis clinics, with a medical technology engineer stationed at each clinic, fostering collaboration among the team.

Job Responsibilities

As a medical technology engineer with us, you are a vital support to the healthcare team. You perform maintenance and enable interventions that impact many people. We are looking for someone who finds joy in working with interesting technology that provides direct benefits in healthcare.

You are responsible for the operation and maintenance of our dialysis machines and water purification systems. The work is varied and includes everything from hands-on technical engineering work to preventive and emergency maintenance.

The role also involves participating in procurement and installation of medical technology equipment, as well as being responsible for quality assurance. The organization is increasing its digitalization, which means you will also work extensively with IT in this role. The position offers great opportunities for development within the dialysis field.

With us, you are offered varied work and a workplace with a positive atmosphere. We continuously work to develop our operations and offer good development opportunities for you and your commitment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a university-level engineer in medical technology or a vocational engineer, or alternatively have other education/professional experience that we deem suitable for the position. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Furthermore, we expect you to have good tool proficiency as hands-on technical work is common. We would appreciate experience in medical technology-related work within dialysis operations. If you have previously worked with IT, data, and electronics, this is a plus. We also view experience from public procurement and project work as a positive attribute.

We place great importance on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is curious, unpretentious, good at collaborating, takes personal responsibility for their development, and wants to contribute to our positive work climate. In your work, you need to be meticulous and responsible, as well as capable of independently planning and executing your tasks.

Furthermore, you are structured, engaged, service-oriented, and responsible. The work requires great consideration for the operations and a propensity for service commitment. You are accustomed to working independently, while it is important that you thrive and function well in a team together with colleagues from both your own and other professions. The daily plan can change quickly if situations arise, so we also appreciate qualities such as flexibility and the ability to handle unforeseen events.

This recruitment uses rolling selection. We warmly welcome your application, and we look forward to getting to know you!
