Do you want to work close to the technology that makes an entire society function? We are now looking for an additional Distribution Technician to join Lidköping Miljö och Teknik. This role is perfect for you if you want a practical, varied, and meaningful job at the heart of Lidköping's power grid. Here, you will work both independently and together with experienced colleagues to keep the power grid safe, modern, and reliable all year round.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK

As a Distribution Technician, you work with the entire chain of our power grid, from distribution stations to the customer's connection point. You handle service, maintenance, and troubleshooting, while also participating in the expansion and modernization of the grid. The work involves physical activity, varying environments, and technical challenges where no two days are alike.

Working hours are 07:00–16:00, and after you have acquired the necessary competencies, scheduled on-call duty is included. You will become part of our operations department and work closely with both the operations manager and the team leader.

Examples of tasks include:

• Service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on overhead lines, underground cables, network stations, cable cabinets, and transformers.
• Laying cables, splicing cables, and laying the foundations for new network stations together with excavation contractors.
• Repairs and uncovering of cable faults.
• Working at heights when necessary.
• Documentation and digital reporting in our systems.

The position involves being placed on the war establishment within Lidköping Miljö och Teknik if you are not already placed higher. A background check will be conducted.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for you who are trained as an electrician, distribution electrician, or have other equivalent electrical technical background. You have experience working practically with electrical installations or power distribution and thrive in a job where you can combine technology, problem-solving, and physical activity. You have good physical fitness, enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions, and always prioritize electrical safety.

As a person, you are meticulous, service-oriented, and unpretentious. You are confident in both customer contact and collaboration with colleagues, while also being able to work independently when the situation requires it.

We are looking for you who have:

• Training in electrical installation, power distribution, or equivalent experience.
• Documented experience working at voltage levels 0.4–40 kV.
• Ability to work digitally with reporting and documentation.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Category B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have a BE driver's license as well as training such as ESA, EBR, or Work on the Road. Chainsaw training, forklift license, or lift training are also a plus and facilitate everyday work.
