Job Responsibilities

As a service technician, you work with service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Hammar's products. The work is primarily performed in the workshop in Olsfors where you work with both new and used machines as well as customer machines that come in for service and repair. The position can be adapted based on your experience and competence. For some roles, field service at the customer's site is also included, and for those with previous experience, there is an opportunity to take greater responsibility by supporting the Service Manager with planning and coordination. Examples of job responsibilities: • Service, maintenance, and repair of Hammar's side loaders. • Troubleshooting within hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. • Conversions, upgrades, and customer adaptations. • Handling warranty, complaint, and service cases. • Delivery checks and functional testing. • Technical support to customers and colleagues. • Documentation of completed work. Depending on the position, the role may also include: • Field service and emergency service interventions at the customer's site. • Customer visits with the company's service vehicle. • Planning and prioritization of work in the workshop. • Support to the Service Manager in daily operations. • Temporarily increased responsibility during peak work periods or absences. Employment type: Permanent employment (with a 6-month fixed-term contract initially) Working hours: Daytime, full-time (100%) Start: According to agreement Location: Olsfors, just outside Borås.

Background and Personal Qualities

We are looking for you who have experience with service, maintenance, or repair of construction machinery, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, or other similar equipment. We would like you to have: • Knowledge within hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical systems. • Ability to read and understand technical drawings. • Good computer skills. • Driver's license class B. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing. Forklift license is meritorious, as is experience in field service, welding, machine building, technical support, and customer contact. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and have a strong technical interest. You work independently when needed but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues. You are quality-conscious, take initiative, and have a service-oriented approach where both the customer and the final result are in focus.
