About the job

We are now looking for a Property Host (Fastighetsvärd) who wants to create pleasant living environments for our tenants and wishes to play a role alongside us. As a Property Host, you are the face of the Housing Company and have frequent contact with our tenants. You are responsible for your area and plan your work independently based on the needs of the tenants and the area.

Examples of tasks:

• Meet the ongoing and daily needs of tenants in their homes with a focus on high service.
• Handle service issues by performing certain repairs, coordinating measures in case of damage, and ordering and inspecting interventions from contractors.
• Actively collaborate with internal and external parties to develop the properties regarding operations and maintenance.
• Have cost responsibility, handle invoices, and participate in budgeting and forecasting.
• Contribute to safety-enhancing work through collaboration with internal and external parties, such as participating in meetings with tenant associations, conducting well-being activities for tenants, and similar tasks.

As a Property Host in Gamla Järnbrott, you belong to the Property Management Department and the Central District, where you report to your area's Property Manager. You collaborate and exchange experiences with your fellow Property Hosts and have close cooperation with other colleagues in your area, such as environmental hosts, property caretakers, and cleaners.

About you

To succeed in the role of Property Host, you need to have a strong commitment to your work and keep the customer and the task in focus. For you, service is a keyword, and you value the social meeting with tenants as well as your unique work environment in our tenants' homes.

We are looking for you with:

• A property-related education as a property manager, property caretaker, property host, or equivalent, or alternatively, you have worked in a related industry within construction, technology, electricity, plumbing, craftsmanship, or similar, and can demonstrate equivalent professional knowledge.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).
• Computer proficiency.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience from the profession or as a carpenter.

Collaboration is important to you, and by being interested and understanding of others, you foster a respectful work climate. The Housing Company has approximately 25,000 rental apartments distributed across all districts of Gothenburg. This makes us one of Gothenburg's largest landlords and an important part of societal and urban development.

We are approximately 400 people working at the Housing Company. Most work out in our residential areas closest to our tenants, while others work centrally in one of our support functions.
