Rasta Götene is a facility that is part of the well-known Rasta chain, with 30 meeting places across Sweden where we operate a restaurant, shop, and hotel.

Job Description

As a caretaker at Rasta, you are an important part of the team and ensure that our guests have a pleasant experience. You work in a varied and service-oriented environment where you interact with guests, are responsible for the outdoor areas, ensure everything looks tidy, and contribute to a clean and welcoming facility. The pace can be fast, but with the right attitude and good teamwork, we create a welcoming atmosphere where both guests and colleagues thrive.

Responsibilities

• The role of caretaker primarily involves ensuring that the facility is pleasant and well-maintained.

• Varied tasks: repairs and minor maintenance of the building, emptying outdoor trash bins, outdoor cleaning, watering flowers, changing light bulbs, mowing grass in the summer, and snow removal in the winter.

• Secondary tasks related to restaurant operations may occur, such as cleaning and dishwashing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Service-oriented attitude – Ability to greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Organized and solution-oriented.

• Handy/DIY skills.

• Has an eye for detail and can work carefully.

• Good physical fitness, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills.

• Comfortable working independently, though colleagues are present on-site.

• Spreads positive energy and is a considerate colleague.

Working Hours and Benefits

Employment Type: Part-time with increased hours during summer
Employment Level: 40–50%
Working Hours: Varying hours, including weekends
Salary: According to collective agreement
Start Date: By agreement
