About the Department
The Radiology Clinic in Örnsköldsvik is part of a county-wide operation including clinics in Sollefteå and Sundsvall. The clinic is of medium size and supports both specialist care and outpatient care in investigations and treatments using various types of examinations. We work with ultrasound, conventional X-ray, fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), interventional procedures, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Approximately forty people work at the Örnsköldsvik clinic.
We are now looking for a Specialist in Radiology to join our team! You will work in a team together with assistant nurses, radiographers, radiologists, medical secretaries, and other administrators. The clinic is currently staffed by 7 specialists, and there are also 2 resident doctors (ST-läkare). On-call duties are performed from 07:15 to 22:00 every day, and an external teleradiology partner is responsible for night shifts.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.
Responsibilities
As a Specialist in Radiology, you will work with:
- Standard tasks at a radiology unit
- Leading the daily work for respective modalities
- On-call duties
- Supervision and guidance
Qualifications
We are looking for you who
- Are a Specialist in Radiology
- Have Swedish language skills at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale, and proficiency in English in both speech and writing.
