Job Responsibilities

Your main workplace is Furubacken in Fränsta, where you will have your office. The role involves working within the municipality's special housing, short-term care, and dementia services. As an occupational therapist, you will conduct activity assessments and implement therapeutic measures to help patients manage their daily activities. This requires flexibility and creativity.

Your duties also include prescribing assistive devices, mentoring staff, and writing certificates for housing adaptation grants. You will collaborate closely with physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, nurses, managers, and care assistants. Therefore, experience working in multidisciplinary teams is valued, as well as strong pedagogical skills, since a significant part of the role involves mentoring and instruction.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist who can see the big picture regarding individual needs and collaborate effectively with other professional groups. Previous work experience is desirable, but we also welcome recent graduates. A driver's license and good computer skills are mandatory. Personal suitability is of great importance in our recruitment process.
