About the operations

Within Region Västernorrland, there are three primary care areas; south, west and north where local cooperation takes place within/between the municipality, primary care and specialist care. Together we work to create a cohesive care chain for the growing patient groups of chronic and multi-diseased patients. Primary Care Area South has a hospital and eight region-run health centers. In the area there are six private health centers and four municipalities. Primary Care Area South has approximately 900 employees and six operational managers.

We are now looking for two nursing assistants to the Emergency Department in Sundsvall. The positions are for full-time substitutes, with access from 2026-09-01 to 2027-01-31.

Job Description

The nursing assistant work at our emergency department is extremely varied and here no day is like the other. The work is sometimes demanding and requires stress tolerance. Being versatile is seen as a given here at the emergency department as we live in an environment where tasks vary. Regardless of what experience you have from before, you will develop and constantly learn more. We have internal training and simulation exercises that will develop you in your professional role. You will work in one of our fantastic teams consisting of doctors, nurses and nursing assistants. Your tasks will consist of:

• Blood sampling
• Dressing changes
• ECG recording
• Assisting with various procedures
• Care measures

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are trained as a nursing assistant
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage for the position if you

• Have experience of somatic hospital care
• Have experience of emergency care
