About the operations

Medicine/Geriatrics/Emergency in Örnsköldsvik is part of the local healthcare area north. The Medicine Clinic in Örnsköldsvik is a clinic with approximately 35 doctors. The clinic operates within several subspecialties (cardiology, hematology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology, neurology, and geriatrics). We are now looking for a Specialist Training Doctor (ST-läkare) with a focus on internal medicine.

We have experienced colleagues and a good collaboration climate. At the clinic, medical candidates are also trained in addition to colleagues in training (e.g., AT/BT doctors). You are expected to participate in teaching and supervision of medical students and less experienced colleagues, as well as participate in collegial meetings.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with access as agreed.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities are patient responsibility, which means being responsible for medical investigation, assessment, and treatment of patients. The role also includes administrative work. You will participate in the duty line and work in a team with medical colleagues and other professions.

As a Specialist Training Doctor at the medicine clinic, you participate partly in duty work, which includes night duty weeks, evenings, and also weekends. You serve as an assistant physician on the ward and also participate in the clinic's outpatient activities. You are expected to participate in teaching and supervision of younger colleagues such as AT/BT.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and assume that you handle patient meetings and collaboration with colleagues in a respectful, professional, and patient-safe manner. As a person, you are structured and plan your work in an efficient way. You have the ability to see the big picture and take into account the larger perspective in your actions and decisions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed doctor who has completed AT or are a licensed doctor who has completed BT.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
