About Us

The Rehabilitation Clinic is located in both Karlshamn and Karlskrona. Our team-based specialist rehabilitation includes pain rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation, stroke neuro-rehabilitation, general specialist rehabilitation, a botox clinic, and a spinal cord injury team. The clinic also operates an inpatient ward in Karlshamn for inpatient rehabilitation. We work with patient-centered rehab plans, and our medical group collaborates and supports each other as needed. We prioritize a good work environment and sustainable workload. As a doctor at the Rehabilitation Clinic, you will have the opportunity to treat patients with spinal cord injuries, chronic pain conditions, stroke, brain injuries, amputations, multiple traumas, and other complex conditions. We plan ahead to ensure adequate staffing and competence. The position does not involve evening or weekend work, as a good work environment is a high priority for us.

About the Job

We are looking for a licensed specialist physician for a well-functioning operation. We are seeking someone with an interest or specialization in rehabilitation medicine who wishes to work with multimodal rehabilitation. You are welcome to apply regardless of whether you currently work with rehabilitation medicine or are interested in developing within this field.

If you wish to develop within pain rehabilitation, we offer a unique opportunity to create lasting change for patients alongside an engaged team. For those already working with pain rehabilitation, you will recognize our multimodal approach involving team assessments, rehabilitation plans, and pain management courses. For those eager to learn more, we offer a stimulating and rewarding way of working through a biopsychosocial perspective on patients with complex rehabilitation needs. In our teams, we work patient-centered with occupational therapists, counselors, doctors, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, and nurses.

Job Responsibilities

To independently assess and treat patients with chronic pain as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also give lectures to patients, relatives, and students, write certificates, and support medical colleagues as needed. Supervision of ST-doctors (residents) is included. If you are interested in other areas within the clinic's operations, there is room for development.

About You

We are primarily looking for you who are a specialist in rehabilitation medicine. If you have good collaboration skills, value multidisciplinary teamwork, and have a genuine interest in the subject area, you are welcome to apply even with another specialist competence.

The work location is Karlshamn or Karlskrona. We value collaboration within the medical group at the Rehabilitation Clinic. The position can be adapted to some extent based on the applicant's interest and specialization.

You are a secure and stable person with good collaboration skills, social competence, and a structured work approach. We expect flexibility and good communication skills. The extent of employment and form of employment can be discussed upon hiring. We place great importance on personal suitability.
