Within Ronneby's rehabilitation unit, approximately 10 occupational therapists, 9 physiotherapists, 2 rehabilitation assistants, 2 dementia nurses, and 3 Silvia sisters work. The unit operates as a team. We develop our operations with digital tools and methods with the goal of being an attractive and modern employer and healthcare provider.

We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist for our home care services. The operations are characterized by a structured approach, good collaboration, and a focus on quality in care and rehabilitation. You will become part of a cross-professional team with broad competence and opportunities for continuous development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an occupational therapist in home care, you work with patients in their home environment or in short-term care facilities. You meet people with different needs and contribute to strengthening their functional and activity capacity. In addition to being part of the team at the Rehabilitation Unit, you will also be part of an assessment team, working with colleagues from other professions. In the assessment team, the work focuses on ensuring that discharges from inpatient care take place in a safe, secure, and efficient manner.

The role as an occupational therapist also includes the following tasks:

  • Assessment, planning, and implementation of occupational therapy interventions
  • Prescription and follow-up of assistive devices
  • Preparation of rehabilitation plans and documentation
  • Collaboration in multiprofessional teams including physiotherapists, nurses, rehabilitation assistants, nursing assistants, and case managers
  • Cooperation with other actors and organizations
  • Participation in development work related to the transition to "Close Care" (Nära vård)

The work involves independent responsibility with good opportunities to plan and structure your workday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist with a good ability to work independently and structurally, as well as having a well-developed collaborative ability and the capacity to collaborate with other professions. To succeed in the role, you need to be flexible and solution-oriented, as well as able to adapt interventions based on the individual's needs with a clear focus on the patient.

Personal suitability is highly valued.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

To be employed within the Health and Care Administration in Ronneby Municipality, an extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The form to be used is titled "Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities". The normal processing time is approximately two weeks. Remember to order the extract well in advance.

Employment type: Permanent position.
