Your responsibilities

As a nursing assistant here, you work closely with the patient and are a vital part of the care chain. Among other things, you will:

• Monitor vital signs and perform nursing care
• Handle telemetry and ECG
• Document in the medical record system
• Contribute to care plans and risk assessments

About the department

Ward 5C is a cardiology ward with four ICU beds (Heart Intensive Care). Here, we care for patients with heart and vascular diseases, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-operative care after heart surgeries. We have a high patient flow and close collaboration with the emergency room and the heart clinic.

We are looking for you who

• Are a certified nursing assistant, preferably with experience in emergency care
• Have a professional and attentive approach to patients
• Take responsibility
• Communicate clearly
• Enjoy working and have the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Focus on providing the best care
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
